I have heard about cashmere sweaters all my life, but never owned one due to the obvious reason of high cost. This ([...]) is my first cashmere sweater and I absolutely love it. It is a v-neck sweater and layered over a long-sleeve shirt, it looks very elegant. It can also be worn alone, and it looks great that way too, very warm and soft - although if your skin is a bit itch-sensitive to wooly/wintery items, you may still need to layer it over a t-shirt for the least. I usually get quite itchy with wooly items, but my skin did ok with this sweater. The only thing I can say is it runs a bit small, I bought a size S, and a M would have been so much better when layering over a shirt or a turtle-neck. The sweater also tends to leave a light homogenous layer of lint, which picks up easily with a single roll or lint roller. Since this is my first cashmere, I don't know if the lint will cease to remain in time or not. I don't see it as a huge problem at all. I love the softness and warmth as I tend to feel cold a lot in winter; it kept me warm on a cold night to my satisfaction. I would recommend everyone to try this sweater, especially when on sale; it is a great bargain.
